Account Deletion
Delete your Planly account and data.
You can request deletion of your Planly account and associated app data without reinstalling the app.
Request deletion by email
Send an email from the same email address used for your Planly account. Use the subject line "Delete my Planly account".
What to include
- Your Planly account email address.
- Your name, if it is different from your email account name.
- Your Google Play order ID if you have a Planly Pro subscription and can provide it.
- A clear request to delete your Planly account and associated app data.
What data will be deleted
After we verify the account, we will delete or anonymize data associated with your Planly account, including:
- Profile data such as name, email, avatar URL, and app preferences.
- Generated notes, summaries, flashcards, quizzes, and uploaded or pasted study material stored by Planly.
- Subjects, schedules, study availability, study sessions, streaks, progress records, and quiz results.
- Notification tokens and device-specific app records where applicable.
Data that may be retained
Some limited records may be retained where required for legal, tax, accounting, fraud prevention, security, dispute, or payment processing reasons. Examples include Google Play purchase records, RevenueCat entitlement logs, support correspondence, and security logs. These records are retained only as long as necessary for those purposes.
Deletion timeline
- We acknowledge deletion requests by email when received.
- We may ask you to verify account ownership before deletion.
- After verification, we delete or anonymize eligible account data within 30 days.
- Backup copies may remain for a limited time until they expire from secure backup systems.
Subscriptions
Deleting your Planly account does not automatically cancel a Google Play subscription. To stop future renewals, cancel your subscription in Google Play:
